Davalac

Where and when you can give blood.

Davalac does two things. It shows where and when you can give blood, from the published schedules of the organisations it follows, on a list you can filter and on a map. And it fills in the official donor questionnaire on your phone, ready to print, so the wait at the desk is shorter. It works in the browser, so there is nothing to install, and reading it needs no account either.

Today

The whole week, the map and the permanent places are in the app.

By place

The towns with drives in the next seven days.

All places

What the app does

The next seven days

Every drive, by day, with its hours and whether it is a bus. Filter by municipality, or by what is near you.

The donor form, filled in

Answer the questions on your phone and print the official form with your answers on it. Nothing you answer leaves the phone.

A map

The same schedule by place, for anybody who thinks in streets rather than days.

Can I give blood?

The rules of the organisation running the drive, asked one at a time. It says what they say and leaves the decision to the doctor.

Permanent places

Where blood is taken every week, with opening hours that follow the public holidays.

A drive, as it is shared

Every drive has a page of its own to send to somebody: the place, the day and the hours, directions and a calendar entry, readable without the app.

What an account keeps

The schedule is read without one. An account is for the parts that are yours.

What we keep with your account
Your email (and your name and picture, with Google), the time of your last visit, the app's language, its version and whether it is installed, your donation log if you turn it on, and the messages you send from the app. If you allow it: usage statistics (Google Analytics).
What we never keep
Questionnaire answers, your identity number, blood type, location.
